What was the highlight of Rosa Del Viento Hotel
Quiet, peaceful and beautiful location for a relaxing time near the ocean.
Quiet location at the very end of the stretch of beach. Very peaceful and quiet at night. Room was clean and comfortable with a view of the ocean. Breakfast provided was excellent. Staff were amazing, caring and friendly!

Wonderful jungle paradise on the beach!
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! Sitting on the porch or waking up while looking out, we felt transported to a jungle paradise, the sound of the water in the background added to the wonder of this. Great King bed and awesome salt water shower! The breakfast included was wonderful, so were the cocktails and fresh seafood from the restaurant menu. The server, Jose Manuel, was super attentive to us during our entire stay, and Claudia at the front desk offered good recommendations.
WiFi wasn’t the best. And the service overall could have been a bit more efficient.

What was the highlight of Rosa Del Viento Hotel
A true getaway
Beautiful room, new, nice, clean with comfortable bed. Yet not too modern, the place offers relaxed beach atmosphere. No fridge, no TV but you can always refill water. I truly get away place. The restaurant make excellent food!! We ate there every nights for 3 nights. The hotel is a bit far from restaurants zone (15 mins walk) but if you bike will help.

Far from everything, so-so breakfast
Reception was great. Very accommodating with what they can - the lady working afternoon shifts especially. She was always smiley and helpful. Cocktails were good though, as were the smoothies. The room was spacious and good - perhaps the only good point about this place. Maid cleaning service was great everyday.
For the price we paid, I'm pretty sure we could've gotten a better deal elsewhere. This hotel was very far away from the main strip and basically had nothing to do in the area (except lie by the beach). You'll be spending a lot of money (100 pesos per ride) getting back and forth on the strip, getting to restaurants etc. If we went out for lunch and dinner with a family of 7 that was 800 pesos gone just for rides. Breakfast was dismal, you could pick only one dish (most egg stuff) and the bread was terrible. It was also a very slow affair. Usually takes more than half an hour before you get your food. They even ran out of bacon one morning when we were rushing for a tour and served an omelette with just onions despite us ordering it with ham - no time to change cuz they made us wait 35+ mins for the food despite going there when breakfast opened. No internet in rooms (although we did get spotty connection on and off) - in 2018 this was a joke. Dodgy internet on the beach, reception and restaurant. Restaurant staff terrible - we had lunch here but they weren't at all interested in making sure you had an enjoyable meal. Worst service we had in Mexico. Food wasn't great either. Guacamole the worst we had on this trip - basically they just mashed the avocado up and served it to you on a plate. Salt water shower in the room, which was fine - although the water was either too hot or too cold. Staying 4 nights here, as an end to our Mexico trip, was a mistake. We had a really good experience in the preceding parts of the trip and ending it at rosa del viento left us wanting for something better.
